Events and Initiatives

We work with groups and organizations to raise awareness and funds for The Genevieve Francis Memorial Fund.

Events and initiatives we have been fortunate to be involved in include:

Breaking Down Barriers Project

Working in collaboration with the Professional Women's Hockey League, Breaking Down Barriers (TSN), and the Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Circle of Newfoundland & Labrador, the fund was able to support a once in a lifetime trip in May 2025 for girls from Nain, NL to travel on an all expense trip to Montreal to watch a PWHL playoff game and participate many other exclusive experiences.
