Indigenous Girls Recreational Sport Leadership Program
Led by the Genevieve Francis Memorial Fund through the Ulnooweg Indigenous Community Foundation and Ulnooweg Education Centre, The Indigenous Girls Recreational Sport Leadership Program is a leadership development and peer-based learning program for Indigenous girls and two-spirit people aged 18-30 in Atlantic Canada with experience and/or interest in recreational sport.
Summer 2023 Cohort
Four participants will begin the program this spring/summer. Participants will participate in peer to peer learning opportunities and be provided $2,500 to organize or support a recreational sport initiative in their community that is exclusive to Indigenous women and girls.
